As the month of November is drawing to a close, the second to last writing prompt is 'be ridiculous'. This phrase to me is all about letting go and having fun. Ridiculous doesn't break any laws or tread onto a moral high ground, but is really all about skirting the line of accepted behavior and just …. crossing over that line.
There are times when I've done that. Although it doesn't happen often.
Perhaps I focus on staying closer to the line in order to provide a good example, remain a professional or it could be the fear that if I cross too far over that line I might not come back!
Ridiculous is an extreme. And I don't tend to live in the extreme. But I like to skirt the edge. I sing loudly in the car, I stop of a Shamrock shake as a treat for my daughter - for no apparent reason, and find ways to be silly and funny wherever I go. That to me is best form of ridiculous!
